I have finished some retouching on a few of the Freerunner shot. I have not decided which to use on my website or in the folio yet but am pretty happy with the way the have turned out.
Here is the behind the scenes video taken at the Fusion media Photoshoot. The video was shot and edited by Ross Chapman and show the goings on behind the scenes at one of our shoots.
Last Thursday we shot the second part of our messy paint related cycling shoot. With a tag line of ‘We have it covered’ Fusion Media asked us to cover various cyclists in paint for the visual advertising of the company. Here we have some of the behind the scenes images from the day. I will be loading up a behind the scenes video from the day as well as the final images once they have been edited.
We were asked last week to shoot a series of images for the National portrait gallery a few weeks ago to show their new late night openings. These have started to appear in the underground but as yet I have not seen them. Thank you to the guys at True North for asking me to help out on the project and to Karen Hughes who Art Directed.
I started a new personal project last week working with a group of freerunners. We shot in a run down estate in SE London and here are some of the behind the scenes shots take by either Steve or Simon who assisted me on the day. I will be posting the images once the project has been finished along with links to the guys performing their flips and other skills. All I can say about these guys is wow! Truely very tallented young men.
Today we shot a test for Fusion Media who cover sporting events. The art director whats to use the tag line “We have it covered” so asked it I could shoot cyclists covered in paint. My original idea was to have it falling from above but after some discussion about the banners on the site we decided to have it coming from the left hand side. This test was to see if I could freeze the paint and time it by eye of if I would have to use triggers and sensors. I like the results and hopefully the client (who is covered in paint) will too and we will get to shoot some amazing cyclists with paint covering them.
Here are the results of my latest beauty test. The model was the lovely Elarica at Models 1. Wuese provided the Makeup and Luke assisted her with the hair.
Yesterday the pictures from the short film I worked on last year had their first release. Venus and the Sun stars Keeley Hazzell, Will Smith (The Thick Of It) and Ukweli Roach. Here are the first few images to be released, once I am given the green light more will follow. Because I love working on films I have had John Deaville at NXMD create a seperate website specifically for these images and future unit photography www.stuartfromstills.com.
